CAPE CORAL, FL--Bike ride at dusk to morn the loss of a fellow biker. Tonight friends and family of 20-year old Miguel Gonzales rode their motorcycles to the intersection where it happened.
"He was always there for you and always had your back for everything," said ex-girlfriend Triana Mesias.
Last night police say Gonzales smashed in to the back of this Nissan Pathfinder as the SUV turned from Chiquita Boulevard onto Trafalgar Parkway.
He was sent to Lee Memorial Hospital where he died Friday morning.
Friends say Gonzales was extremely passionate about his bike.
"He always wore his helmet, he bought everything he needed and was so excited to be on his bike," said Mesias.
Today, bikers from all over became one, wearing Gonzales' favorite color green and rode to the scene of the devastating crash.
"It really makes you think about life and makes you think about what you have and what you dont," said friend Edward Mix.
