IMMOKALEE, Fla.- Crews are monitoring a sinkhole in Immokalee.
Earlier today, the Collier County Sheriff's Office shut down West Main Street, near West Way as a precaution for passersby.
The sinkhole does not extend to the pavement, but officials say it's too risky to let heavy vehicles drive on the road near the hole. They're now working to determine a cause and fix the damage before it effects anyone in the neighborhood.
