LEHIGH ACRES, FL - Just after 3 am on Wednesday morning, as many as 5 teens storm into a Marathon gas station pointing guns and screaming demands. The store owner says they wanted cash, cigarettes and cigars. The whole incident was captured on surveillance cameras positioned all around the tiny store. A customer was in the store as well, he says the teens allegedly pointed a gun at him and told him to empty his pockets. "They got my last 20 dollars", the man tells WINK news. According to Lee County deputies, the teens then fled the store in a Toyota Prius. A chase ensued and the Prius crashed pinning a female who was in the car. Deputies say she was screaming for help when they caught up with them. 5 teens were arrested and charged with robbery without a firearm. 4 of them were also charged with wearing a mask during the commission of a felony.
