TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Police are searching for a Monticello man after they say they found a decomposing body in the crawl space of his home.
Police were asked to check on David Patronis' mother Wednesday, but when they arrived at the home they learned she had died last year. Officers said someone was still collecting her Social Security benefits.
Deputies and K-9 dogs searched the home where the woman lived with Patronis and found a body in the crawl space. The body was too decomposed to identify.
Patronis was not home during the search. The Tallahassee Democrat (http://tinyurl.com/pbfpceq) reports there is a warrant for his arrest.
