Lee County Sheriff Office arrested a man in a North Fort Myers shooting that sent one man to the hospital Saturday morning. Elijah Evors, 23, was arrested for aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. Deputies responded to a call about a shooting around 2:00 a.m. Deputies responded to the scene and due to the nature of the incident, Major Crimes Unit Detectives assumed the investigation. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in stable condition. This is an isolated incident and there is no danger to the public. Evors was taken to the Lee County Jail.
