LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- New developments in a story WINK News has been following for more than a year. A final person in the check cashing scam surrounding the Lee County School District has been arrested.
Tenish Ruffin is charged with grand theft and passing a forged document. All together, 39 people were charged by the Fort Myers Police Department and the Lee County Sheriff's Office.
It's now up to the state if they'll prosecute on any more charges.
