TRINITY, Fla. (AP) - Family members say the 90-year-old southwest Florida man who was trapped in his car for two days earlier this year has died.

Justin Ambrozia tells The Tampa Bay Times (http://www.ittybittyurl.com/TOn ) his father Justyn died of heart failure Thursday from complications from the trauma.

Ambrozia broke his wrist and hip when he fell at a grocery store in April. Employees helped him to his car and he somehow managed to drive home. But when Ambrozia pulled into the garage, he couldn't pull the car door handle because of the pain in his swollen wrist.

His car battery died as soon as he got into the garage, so he couldn't honk the horn. He survived on snacks but didn't have water.

A neighbor eventually noticed a hand waving from the car.
