LEE COUNTY, Fla. - The Florida High School Athletic Association is hosting its baseball state championship at JetBlue Park, bringing teams, fans and tourism dollars to Lee County.

Lee County sports authority Executive Director Jeff Mielke says the 8-day event could bring an estimated $1.8 million to the local economy.

The tournament ends om May 23rd and includes 2 local high school teams (Bishop Verot & Estero High).

Organizers say each game must average 250 fans for the county to profit from gate receipts.

1A and 2A – May 15 semis (10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m.)
1A and 2A – May 16 finals (1A is at 4:05 p.m., 2A is at 7:35 p.m.)
7A and 8A – May 17 semis (10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m.)
7A and 8A – May 18 finals (7A is at 4:05 p.m., 8A is at 7:35 p.m.)
3A and 4A – May 20 semis (10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m.)
3A and 4A – May 21 finals (3A is at 4:05 p.m., 4A is at 7:35 p.m.)
5A and 6A – May 22 semis (10 a.m., 1 p.m., 4 p.m., 7:30 p.m.)
5A and 6A – May 23 finals (5A is at 4:05 p.m., 6A is at 7:35 p.m.)
