SARASOTA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in Sarasota County are investigating a crash caused by a driver who ran a red light, injuring three adults and two children.
Authorities say the victims were taken to the hospital Saturday and appear to be in stable condition.
The Sarasota Herald-Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/19cyuB7 ) responding personnel had to cut the driver out of the car by removing the top and driver's side doors. The driver in the other car was among the five taken to the hospital.
The crash delayed traffic for about an hour.
No charges have been filed in the accident.
