FORT MYERS, Fla.- Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public's help identifying a man who broke into a Fort Myers gas station just before 2:00 a.m. on April 10th.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the unknown man inside the Hess Gas Station, located at 4087 Palm Beach Boulevard. Detectives say the man used a 2x4 slab of wood to smash out the front door of the business. Once inside, he rummaged through the store, leaving with an armful of beef jerky and other food items.
Anyone with information on this burglary, or the identity and whereabouts of the suspect, is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
