PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Signup for the Y's Men's Club 4th Annual Charlotte Challenge is now open.

The Challenge will take place at the YMCA Dotzler Park on Bayshore Road again this year and is open to team members over 18-years-old.

The Charlotte Challenge is a 4-person team competition which consists of 6 events: Basketball Shoot, Archery, English Steel Tip Darts, Corn Hole Toss, Tug-of-War, and Canoe Port and Paddle.

The top four teams from these events then face off in an Obstacle Course Race to determine the final winners. The team from Donato's restaurant has won all three of the previous Charlotte Challenges.

It's time for another team to step up and challenge the reigning champions! $500 awarded to the first place team. Total of $1,000 in cash prizes (based on a full field of 24 teams). 

There will also be activities for the kids including face painting, a bounce house, and meet-and-greet with Stoney the mascot of the Charlotte Stone  Crabs.
