ANCLOTE RIVER, Fla.- A 30-year-old man was rescued by Coast Guard crewmembers from a 26-foot fishing vessel, approximately 20 miles northwest of Anclote River on Friday.
A crewmember aboard the "Mary D" contacted watchstanders, reporting Jasper Troop was experiencing severe stomach cramping and tingling in his extremities.
An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Air Station Clearwater arrived on scene, hoisted Troop aboard the Jayhawk and transported him to Bayonet Point Regional Medical Center in Hudson.
