FORT MYERS, Fla. - FORD's GARAGE, the popular downtown eatery, has lost its first effort to trademark their name. Local trademark attorneys tell WINK News it may be because the restaurants logo is similar to the logo of the iconic car maker. The ownership group of the restaurant say they are not overly concerned, they say primary efforts to trademark names usually fail. They say they will be trying again and could know if they are successful as early as next week. A Cape Coral realtor who named his business FROECLOSURE TOURS R US, was forced to change his business' name after TOYS R US fought the similar R US branding.
