FORT MYERS, Fla. - Kailah Casillas says she always knew she was a good writer. But she admits she never dreamed of reaching the success she recently achieved after pitching a story to the New York Post. Casillas, a junior at Florida Gulf Coast University, also interns at a local radio station.  She got the chance to interview players from the University's basketball team regarding their recent success on the court. She wrote an article, and after some encouragement from one of her professors, she decided to start "pitching" or offering the story to major newspapers across the country. The New York Post was the first paper to reply. After a couple of revisions, her story was published on Thursday.
