ESTERO, Fla. – The Florida Everblades and Germain Arena have announced that they will be hosting a free game watching party for FGCU’s Sweet 16 contest with the Florida Gators following the Everblades game against Orlando on Friday. The Everblades game starts at 7:30 p.m. while the FGCU-Florida game is scheduled for a 10:00 p.m. start time.

The FGCU/Florida game will be shown on the video boards in the main rink, as well as in the Breakaway’s Sports Publocated at Germain Arena. Breakaway’s Sports Pubwill offer ½ price appetizers and happy hour drink specials during the game. Concession stands will remain open in the concourse as well.

In addition,all FGCU studentswishing to attend the Everblades game prior to the watch party, may purchase $5 tickets at the Capital Bank Box Office by presenting their college I.D. Admission to the watch party itself is free, so let's pack the house on Friday!


Friday’s game kicks off Fan Appreciation Weekend onFriday which will conclude on Saturday against the Solar Bears. For both nights, the first 2,500 fans will receive an Everblades Team Photo courtesy of FGCU. Fans will also have an opportunity to win some great prizes throughout both games. Friday’s game isTeam Awards Night;the awardsceremony will take place prior to the game.

Charity Jersey Auction on Saturday!The team will be auctioning off the blue jerseys which were worn by the Everblades players this season in a live auction following Saturday’s game. Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit theDeb Kelsey Fund.
