COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- A woman accused of second degree murder made her first appearance in court today. According to the Collier County Sheriff's Office, 68-year-old Helen Hope Johns shot her 72-year-old husband, Jack Johns on Monday night in their East Naples home, where the couple lived part-time.
Johns has been released on a $100,000 bond. She can return to Michigan under family supervision. Johns must surrender her passport, and will not be allowed around alcohol or firearms.
