Man suffers serious injuries in plane crash near Immokalee

IMMOKALEE, Fla.- The Collier County Sheriff's Office reported a plane crash near Lake Trafford on Saturday. Deputies said the 911 call came in around 9:50 a.m.
The caller said he had been involved in a plane crash, but did not know where he was. The Sheriff's Office was able to use GPS to track his cell phone, and
located the man and his Ultralight Plane in a heavily wooded area southwest of Lake Trafford.
The man was flown to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
