NAPLES, Fla.- American Idol was in Naples Thursday.
Production crews made a stop at Rita's Ice where Top 10 finalist Lazaro Arbos worked last summer. Idol filmed a "Hometown Shout Out" for the Gulf Coast High grad.
Friends and family packed Rita's for the private watch party, dressed in pink t-shirts with bow ties.
"When I got the news, I said I'm going to be there. Not so much for American Idol, but just the fact to let everyone know the Naples community is backing him up and we want him to win," said Lazaro fan Lisseth Weschler.
America voted Thursday night and Arbos has made it through to the Top 9.
