CAPE CORAL, Fla.-Cape Coral police are reporting their tenth fatal crash victim of 2013.

65-year-old Carl Hoffman died Monday from injuries he sustained in a crash at Old Pondella Road and Pondella Road on Thursday, March 7.

Officers say a woman driving a Dodge Magnum pulled in front of Hoffman as he was on his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Hoffman was not wearing a helmet.

The Cape Coral Traffic Homicide Unit is investigating.

Police says this would have been the eleventh traffic fatality in Cape Coral, however a previously reported traffic homicide was ruled a death due to medical causes rather than being attributable to the crash.
