Punta Gorda Airport crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. - A plane carrying three people crashed at Punta Gorda Airport Saturday afternoon. The plane was an experimental, homemade aircraft. Charlotte County E.M.S. says that the plane lost power and came down short of the runway. Two people had minor injuries and were transported to the hospital. The other person in the plane refused medical treatment. The Federal Aviation Authority is investigating the crash.
