COLLIER COUNTY, Fla.- The Collier County Sheriff's Office is asking motorists to be on alert while driving in and around Ave Maria in eastern Collier on Saturday.
Ave Maria will be hosting multiple events from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., including the Orange Blossom Special cycling event and time trial. During these times traffic will be controlled along Ave Maria Boulevard, Pope John Paul Boulevard and surface streets within the Ave Maria community.
There will be traffic stoppages along Oil Well Road to accommodate the cycling event. There also will be a lane closure on Camp Keais Road in the afternoon.
Deputies will be working traffic control during the cycling event.
