(Fort Myers) - The Lee County Sheriff's office says a 67-year-old man died after being critically injured after getting hit by a car on San Carlos Boulevard. They say it happened near Main Street just before 10 p.m. Wednesday. Deputies Gary Pollock was walking across San Carlos Blvd. when he was the truck hit him. LCSO says the investigation is still ongoing. Detecives say Pollock was at fault, violating the right of way. Officials are conducting toxicology reports. Trust WINK news to bring you the latest information as we get it.
