Suspect arrested after search near Daniels Pkwy

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- One person has been arrested after hours of searching for a suspect near Daniels Pkwy. and I-75. The Florida Highway Patrol says 25yr old Nathan Tucker was detained at Bavaria and Treeline, after attempting to jump the wall into the Plantation Community.
Florida Highway Patrol said Tucker fled in an eastbound direction, after being approached on the highway.
Multiple agencies searched the surrounding area, including Botanica Lakes. Traffic was backed up in the northbound lanes near mile marker 134, due to police activity.
Treeline Elementary was locked down briefly, but resumed regular dismissal procedures around 4:30 p.m.
