PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - There's an easy way you can help feed the homeless in Charlotte County.
City leaders have set up drop boxes at locations all over the city and need the community to fill them!
The donations will go to the Homeless Coalition's food pantry. Organizers say they're having trouble meeting the daily needs of the community.
"They think that just because it's not the holidays that these food banks are functioning on their own and it's the exact opposite. They need help all year long!" says Tracy Quintana.
The drive goes until February 15th.
Drop box locations:
City Hall
Annex Building (Floors 2 and 3)
Fire Station #2 at Acline Road
Fire Station #3 at Aqui Esta
Public Safety Building/Fire Station #1
Public Works/Utilities at 3130 and 3132 Cooper Street
