PUNTA GORDA, Fla.- The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in locating a stolen semi-tractor and trailer reported taken at 11:13 p.m. Sunday from behind the Sunoco gas station, located at 26520 Jones Loop Road.
CCSO detectives are looking for ared 2007 Peterbuilt 379 semi-tractorwith Missouri tag 19AN9P, and the2005white 53 foot Great Dane cargo trailer with Oklahoma tag 3096FV. The driver said the tractor has a lot of chrome on it, racing flags on the side faded into the paint, and the words “Leased to Connell Transportation” on the side door. The cargo in the trailer consisted of pallets of pasta boxes and playing cards.
