LEE COUNTY, Fla.- The man accused of stabbing a woman in her Fort Myers home pleaded not guilty this morning. John Maatsch was not in court and entered the plea via his lawyer as he was arraigned on attempted first degree murder and first degree burglary charges.

Maatsch is accused of attacking his neighbor, Tracey Marazzi, in the Paseo neighborhood back in December.

His next court date is scheduled for March 22nd.
