IMMOKALEE, Fla.- Detectives are investigating a shooting incident that left one man dead and another man injured in Immokalee early Saturday morning.
Ernst Ganem, 20, and the other male victim were sitting in a vehicle in a parking lot at 601 W. Delaware Ave., around 12:30 a.m. when they got into an altercation with the unidentified male suspect. The suspect produced a weapon and shot both victims as they sat in their vehicle.
Deputies and paramedics responded.
Ganem, 501 S. 8th St., Immokalee, was transported to NCH North Collier Hospital, where he later died. The other victim was transported to a local trauma center, where he was listed in critical condition. His identity was unavailable.
No arrest has been made.
An investigation continues.
