PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics, Street Crimes, and K9 Units raided a Port Charlotte drug house Thursday around 6:15 a.m. at 21274 Coulton Avenue in the Parkside area. Rodney Dewayne Rogers, 42; Alisha Denise Herrmann, 22; and Joseph Alan Cmehil, 50, all of the address where the raid took place, were arrested.
Following a lengthy Narcotics investigation, detectives obtained and served a search warrant on the home. The following items were seized:
-$3,126 in cash
-A recently stolen .25 caliber Baretta handgunwith seven rounds in the magazine
-190 grams of marijuana
-2 digital scaleswith cocaine residue
-1 grinderwith marijuana residue
-3 new AT&T cell phonesstill in the box valued at $2,300
-1,000 small plastic baggies.
-1 homemade smoking pipe.
-1 rock of Crack cocaine found inside a baby’s sock.
All three were transported to the Charlotte County Jail. Rogers was charged with Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Narcotics Equipment. Herrmann was charged with Sale and Delivery of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, and Possession of Narcotics Equipment. Cmehil is charged with Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Narcotics Equipment. The investigation continues.
Rogers and Herrmanremain in jail on no bond due to prior felony convictions in narcotics; Rogers has been booked in Charlotte County four times while Herrman has been booked nine times. Cmehil posted a $4,500 bond and was released.
