SARASOTA, Fla. - Famed tightrope walker Nik Wallenda walked on a wire 200 feet over U.S. 41 in Sarasota without a safety harness Tuesday morning.

Sarasota is Wallenda's hometown.

A crane secured the wire for this walk that started around 11:00 a.m. It took about 20 minutes to finish.

Parts of U.S. 41 had to be shut down for the stunt.

Last June, Wallenda tightrope walked across Niagra Falls. His stunts have earned him a number of Guiness World Records.
