LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A Lee County man is in jail, charged with in a shooting early Sunday morning.
The Lee County Sheriff's Office arrested 22-year-old Mustarri Andre. He's accused of shooting another man. It all happened at the corner of McGregor and Gladiolus around 3:00 Sunday morning.
When deputies arrived on scene, they located a victim that had been shot several times. The suspect had fled in a silver van.
Deputies were able to locate the van fleeing from the scene at a high rate of speed. After a short distance, it crashed on Park Meadows Drive, Fort Myers. The suspect was observed running into a nearby apartment complex.
Subsequently, the suspect was located at 3720 Metro Pkwy #1320 and was arrested.
Deputies say the victim is being treated at Lee Memorial Hospital.
