TAMPA, Fla. (AP) - Detectives are investigating a double shooting at a Tampa bar that sent hundreds of a patrons running for their lives.
Hillsborough County Sheriff's officials said a fight broke out between two groups of men in the parking lot around 3 a.m. Sunday as Whiskey Park North Bar was closing. One man allegedly pulled out a gun and shot at another group of men several feet away as they walked to their car.
Authorities said one man from each group was shot and was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Hundreds of patrons fled that chaotic scene running down the street or back into the bar.
Detectives are looking for suspects.
