The Lee County Sheriff's Office is on scene of a death investigation in Bonita Springs. The Sheriff's Office responded to a 911 call at 8:02 this morning in reference to an unidentified person found at 27966 Oakland Drive. Due to the nature of the incident, The Lee County Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and assumed the investigation. At this time it appears there is no reason to suspect the neighborhood is in any danger. No other details are available for release at this time.
