Officials locate missing Immokalee girl alive near her home

Immokalee, Fla. - Authorities have located the missing 2-year-old from Immokalee this morning. Denise Hernandez was found alive in a field about a mile and half from her house.
The little girl is being treated, but the sheriff's office she appears to be in good health overall.
Hernandez was last seen by her family in their residence on Wells Street late Sunday evening when they put her to bed.
She was discovered missing around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
The investigation is continuing. However, based on the evidence that has been gathered so far, deputies believe that Denise left the house and was not abducted.
