FORT MYERS, Fla.- The victim in yesterday’s homicide has been identified as 23-year-old David Lau of Fort Myers.

On Sunday, just before 7:30 a.m. the Fort Myers Police Department received a call in reference to an injured male inside a home located at 2353 Lafayette Street. A neighbor made the discovery and called 911.

Upon arrival, police and EMS, determined the male was deceased. Police are investigating the death as a murder.
