Sunday morning fire destroys Lehigh Acres home

LEHIGH ACRES, Fla.- A Lehigh Acres home was destroyed after a fire broke out early Sunday morning.
The fire happened around 3 a.m. at the home in the 600 block of Morningmist Lane.
Firefighters say the house was fully engulfed in flames when they arrived. They believe the fire started in the attic, but the Fire Marshall will perform a complete investigation.
One person was home at the time, but got out safely.
The house is considered a total loss.
