LEE COUNTY, Fla. - With America perched precariously on the edge of the Fiscal Cliff you may be wondering how a fall would affect you. Local CPA Stephen Minosky says everyone will feel the drop. Minosky says, "We are advising people that they should expect tax rates to go up. For the last couple years employees have had a 2 percent break on their social security tax". That means a smaller paycheck and there's more. Programs that assist those who are losing their homes will be targetted as well. The epic battles between Republicans and Democrats over trying to "help their side" may be having the opposite effect in the court of public opinion. One man we spoke to said, "it disgusts me. we pay them tons of money to get this right and they are not coming up with any solutions."
