FORT MYERS, FL - In the wake of the massacre at the Sandy Hook elementary school in Connecticut many are pushing for a ban on assault style rifles. Here in Lee county, gun owners we talked to say they could agree with more regulations but not an all out ban. "We have a 2nd amendment right to own and bear arms", said Ed Nelson. Others say they use their AR-15 style rifle to hunt coyotes and other varmints. All we spoke to agree, stronger laws aimed at keeping guns of any kind out the hands of the mentally challenged or mentally unstable is a more palpable answer.
