FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Lee County Sheriff's Office is requesting the public’s help in apprehending a suspect wanted for a Grand theft that occurred on December 18, 2012 at Dunkins Diamonds located at 11500 S Cleveland in Fort Myers.
Deputies responded to the scene at approximately 5:10 p.m. and met with the store management who stated a sales employee was approached by a male suspect that requested to see a gold necklace to purchase. The sales person showed the subject a 28” 14 kt yellow gold rope chain. The suspect then fled out of the store into an awaiting vehicle with the gold chain.
No one was injured during the incident.
The suspect is described as white male, approximately 5’08” – 5’10” tall, between the ages of 25 to 35 years old, brown eyes, short brown hair, approximately 170 pounds with poor oral hygiene. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a blue baseball cap with writing on the front, a dark blue t-shirt with the writing VCC on the front and the rear possibly read “Christian Center”.
The suspect was last seen fleeing the business running to a vehicle parked at the rear of the business. The vehicle was described as a gold in color Toyota truck, possibly a Tundra. The vehicle was last seen fleeing into the Pine Manor Community.

Due to the nature of the crime, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit assumed the investigation.
