FHP investigates fatal motorcycle crash in N. Ft. Myers

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in North Fort Myers.
It happened just before 8:00 p.m. at 2900 North Tamiami Trail in North Fort Myers.
A white van was traveling north when it veered in the the south lanes of traffic when it struck the motorcycle and then another white car.
Two people were taken to the hospital and are in stable condition. The person driving the van suffered head injuries and the person driving the car suffered leg injuries.
It's still unclear whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
Troopers left around 9:30 p.m. to notify the next of kin.
