1 dead when train hits SUV in South Fla.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Broward Sheriff's officials say one person died when a train hit a sports utility vehicle in Pompano Beach.
The crash happened at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Officials say a section of Sample Road was closed for hours as authorities investigated.
The name of the victim has not been released.
No further details were immediately available.
