DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a man who came to the defense of his sister was shot to death.
Police say Lesley Bouie went to a house in Daytona Beach early Tuesday after his sister Debra Bouie told him she had been beaten up there a few minutes earlier.
Police Chief Mike Chitwood told the Daytona Beach News-Journal (http://bit.ly/R6ZcrX ) the siblings returned to the house and Bouie got into a fight with someone inside. He was shot once in the chest.
Chitwood says police have been to the the residence where Bouie was shot many times. Police did not say why Debra Bouie was at the house early Tuesday.
Police say they have a suspect but haven't named him because they're still looking for him.
