NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla.- Lee County Sheriff's deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect who held up a Circle K store clerk with a silver knife on Tuesday.

The store, located at 780 Pondella Rd., was the second North Fort Myers Circle K to be robbed on Tuesday.

The clerk told deputies the suspect held a knife in his right hand and demanded cash. The employee complied and the man fled on foot toward the east side of the building.

According to the victim, the suspect was wearing a red and white winter jacket, blue jeans and black shoes or boots. He had his face and head covered with a ski-mask, which only had holes exposing his eyes.

Fresh tire marks were located a short distance to the east of the store.

The investigation continues.
