FORT MYERS, Fla.- The Fort Myers Police Department is asking the public for help in locating a person of interest in a murder case from earlier this year. Detectives would like to find and talk to 24-year-old Jonathan Espinosa.

Espinosa last lived in the Pine Manor area in Lee County. Espinosa is about 5’7” and weighs 145 pounds.

Investigators would like to speak to him about the murder of 28-year-old Shirley Zerna, of North Fort Myers. Zerna was found deceased on June 18 of this year, in an apartment located at 5249 Red Cedar Drive #7.

The Medical Examiner’s office ruled her death a homicide.
