Deadly Thanksgiving Day crash on Alligator Alley

Collier County, Fla.-- Thanksgiving was a deadly day on Alligator Alley. Florida Highway Patrol says the driver of a Nissan drove into the emergency lane near mile marker 76 then over-corrected causing the vehicle to rotate.The driver then ran across the grass median, and overturn several times before coming to a stop upside down against a fence.The driver of that SUV was killed and the passenger was sent to the hospital in serious condition. It's unclear what caused the vehicle to go off the road.
