FLEMING ISLAND, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching through missing persons reports after partial remains were found in a wooded area in north Florida.
Clay County Sheriff's officials say children walking home from a department store found the remains on Sunday.
Officials say the body was decomposing.
The Florida Times-Union (http://bit.ly/ZXHLLs ) reports the area had recently been underwater but had recently dried out.
The sheriff's office has not released information on the sex, age or cause of death of the person.
