PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.- Charlotte County Sheriff's Narcotics Unit detectives arrested four Port Charlotte residents following a raid Wednesday at 6:05 a.m. on a known Methamphetamine dealer’s home. Michelle Lee Spittler, 37, of 18627 Goodman Circle, was arrested where the raid took place. Gabriel Paul McCay, 34, of 20286 Andover Street, Virginia Joy Underwood, 25, of 3698 Easy Street and Jason Lopez, 33, who is homeless, were all arrested.
Prior to CCSO Narcotics detectives obtaining a search warrant, surveillance was conducted on the Goodman Circle home that revealed numerous people inside the home as well as several cars coming and going from that location. All four were found inside the home when the search warrant was served. McCay was searched and had in his possessionMethamphetamine, Oxycodone, Dilaudid, Suboxone, Alprazolam, Diazapam, Methadone and marijuana.Also found in the home was a Pyrex smoking pipe with Meth residue, a digital scale with Meth residue, and two smoking devices with marijuana residue.
Lopez, McCay and Underwood told detectives they had just arrived and were visiting. They said they were bringing Spittler cigarettes. All four were arrested and taken to the Charlotte County Jail. This isMcCay’s ninth booking; he was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Oxycodone, Possession of Suboxone, Possession of Alprazolam, Possession of Diazapam, Possession of Methadone, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Medicinal Drugs without a Prescription. Heremains in jail on $19,500 bond.
Spittlerwas charged with selling Methamphetamine to an undercover detective onOct. 23from her home on Goodman Circle. For that transaction she was charged with Sale and Delivery of Methamphetamine, Possession of Methamphetamine, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. In the drug raid Spittler’s home she was charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. This is hersixth booking.
Lopez and Underwoodwere both charged with Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; both were released after posting $3,500 each. This was the second booking for both of them.
