LEE COUNTY, Fla.- One person is in critical condition after a motorcycle crash on SR 31 at SR 78 early Monday morning.

FHP says 63-year-old Dale Vest is in critical condition at Lee Memorial Hospital after 38-year-old James Summersett violated the right of way and collided with him.

Summersett was driving a Ford F550 while Vest was riding his Honda motorcycle.

Vest was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but was thrown from the vehicle.
