Fort Myers, Fla. -- Captain Kyle Ezerins, avid angler and owner of the 36' ReelFishNSea, joined us on WINK News Now Weekend Saturday and shared some of his secrets to a great catch. He suggests using live, fresh bait as opposed to frozen bait. Of course frozen bait will get the job done, but Ezerins says that catching smaller bait fish early in the day is a nice warm up for the bigger catches that follow. He also explains that grouper are biting more this year than in years past. And now that the water is cooling down, we can expect to see bigger fish moving closer to shore. Ezerins suggests that if you wish to go deep sea fishing but don't have a boat or are new to the sport, hiring a charter with an experienced captain is a fun and sensible option.
