FORT MYERS, Fla. - Former President Bill Clinton will be in Fort Myers Friday afternoon, campaigning on behalf of President Obama.
The rally will take place at the Harborside Event Center in downtown Fort Myers. Doors are set to open between 1:30 and 2 p.m.
Clinton is expected to arrive around 3.
The event is free and tickets are not required, but space inside Harborside is expected to be limited.
The event center says the following roads will be closed during the visit:
-Monroe St. north of Bay St.
-Dean St. north of Bay St.
-Edwards Dr.
Attendees can park for free at the City of Palms parking garage. Overflow parking is on the street and will be metered.
As of 8:30 a.m., the line to get into the event center was relocated to the corner of Bay St. and Monroe St., at the foot of City of Palms garage.
