Woman dies in North Fort Myers ATV accident

LEE COUNTY, Fla.- A 51-year-old woman died after she was thrown from an ATV in an accident in Suncoast Estates Saturday night.
State Patrol Troopers say Lorraine Scofield was driving in the North Fort Myers neighborhood, when she missed a stop sign at Tolles Drive.
She tried to turn left onto Gish Lane but went into the grass and collided with a tree and wire fence.
Scofield was thrown from the ATV and hit the fence.
She was transported to Lee Memorial Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
